Moon setting over the Solway Firth, Cumbria from Ostle House, 30th January 2010

Glorious sight first thing this morning as the full moon was setting over south west Scotland in much the same place as the sun sets in May and July. The tide was coming in so some of the shoreline was covered with the incoming tide to offer us the moonlight reflection. What a way to start the last day of January 2010 with a view like this from our bedroom window. How lucky we are to live here!
